Nothing breaks and nothing nags you. When you activate a trial or license, Cloudflare Edge issues an Ed25519-signed certificate stored at ~/.config/viture_spatial/license.cert. The local verifier checks the cryptographic signature in under 0.2ms without making any network requests. ParallaxXR Pro leases stay valid offline for 35 days at a time, and ParallaxXR Founder leases stay valid offline for 365 days.
ParallaxXR gracefully falls back to the Parallax Community tier. Your virtual displays, smooth follow, hardware brightness/volume controls, and local WebUI continue working forever without nag popups or black screens.

Never. Your machine computes a one-way salted SHA-256 hash (sha256("viture-spatial-seat-v1:" + machine_id + arch)) locally before contacting the licensing edge. Raw serials, MAC addresses, and usernames never leave your machine.
